CHILDREN'S & YOUTH LEADERS LUNCH

with Bishop David

Saturday June 12th (10am - 3pm)

St Mary's School, High Barns, Ely.  

The day will include a free two-course lunch, Christian bookshop, Keynote speaker, worship, a reflection by Bishop David and a chance for you to try out brand-new resources for your work.  

10am Registration, refreshments & a chance to browse the bookshop.  

10.30am Welcome and Introductions (led by David Waters - DYO)  

10.40am Worship led by Jan Payne including a reflection from Bishop David  

11.30am  Keynote Speaker 'Holding onto our Children' (Ian McDonald -co-author of the Grove booklet, 'Tweenagers')  

12.45pm Lunch (and another chance to browse the Bookshop)  

1.45pm   We split into two groups  (Children's leaders & Youth Leaders) for our own meeting.  

The 'Youth Leaders meeting will include a chance for you to try out 'Breathe' - our interactive resource for deaneries and schools.   

2.45pm   Final prayers and reflection (led by our children's adviser, Julia Chamberlin)  

The event is open to all Anglican churches and Local Ecumenical Projects in the diocese of Ely.
