These pages will help you explore the part you can play by offering and developing your own gifts, resources and ministry as part of the Church worldwide. The Ministry Team is responsible for all of these ministerial activities in the diocese.

Training

The Ministry Team look after the following areas of training in the diocese.

Calendar of Training Events

Please find below a handbook of the training opportunities, reflection days, lectures and meetings planned in the Diocese of Ely for the period of April to June 2015.

Hard copies will be sent to parishes and we ask that you display these on notice boards where possible, so people can see the opportunities available to them.

If you've got any comments or feedback on the calendar, please don't hesitate to contact us at ministry@ely.anglican.org

Vocation and Ministry

Are you being called to ministry? When Christians talk about a 'call' we mean that God is calling us in our mind and heart - to take an action or make a choice. 'Vocation' is the word often used to describe a call that leads us into a particular way of life.

Upcoming Events

Here is a copy of the Michaelhouse programme of Lent talks, which look very good. I hope they will be of personal interest and that you may be able to recommend them to curates, ordinands and prospective ordinands, clergy (serving and retired) looking for a focus in Lent, parishioners, students, LLMs ALMs and spiritual directees.
