These pages will help you explore the part you can play by offering and developing your own gifts, resources and ministry as part of the Church worldwide. The Ministry Team are responsible for all of these ministerial activities in the diocese.
The Ministry Team look after the following areas of training in the diocese.
Calendar of Training Events
Please find below a Calendar of Training Events. Each event is marked on the calendar, with a symbol representing the group the training is for. Explanatory notes are in the ‘handbook’. We have produced a three month draft which we would like you to display on your church notice board and include appropriate excerpts as part of your parish notices. I would also like your feedback on the format of calendar and accompanying information booklet; is it understandable, easy to navigate; does it give you the information that you need?

Vocation and Ministry
Are you being called to ministry? When Christians talk about a 'call' we mean that God is calling us — in our mind and heart - to take an action or make a choice. 'Vocation' is the word often used to describe a call that leads us into a particular way of life.
Here is a copy of the Michaelhouse programme of Lent talks, which look very good. I hope they will be of personal interest and that you may be able to recommend them to curates, ordinands and prospective ordinands, clergy (serving and retired) looking for a focus in Lent, parishioners, students, LLMs ALMs and spiritual directees.
