Adult education, initial training for lay ministry, continuing education for clergy and lay ministers, and review of ministry.

Director of Ministerial and Adult Learning:
The Revd Canon Les Oglesby
Canon Oglesby is responsible for all continuing ministerial education matters. These include years 1-4 post ordination training, queries about personal grants and extended study leave. He is also responsible for the implementation of the All Good Gifts Around Us report in parishes and localities as well as diocesan adult learning programmes. Les Oglesby works from Diocesan Office and can be contacted there.

Ministerial and Adult Learning Officer:
The Revd Christine Worsley
Christine Worsley is responsible for coordinating the programmes of initial training for Licensed Lay Ministers (Readers) and Authorised Lay Ministers. The Authorised Lay Ministry (ALM) course consists of modules in administration, children’s ministry, evangelism, music ministry, pastoral ministry, lay pioneer ministry, social awareness ministry, worship leading and youth ministry. She also works with Les Oglesby in the support of leadership and development in Local Ministry Teams.
