Ely Diocese hosts several mailing lists:
Diocesan Newsletter
The Diocesan Newsletter List is for all who wish to receive a copy of the monthly Diocesan Newsletter. This is a colour A4 pdf file which has clickable links to further informstion on the Diocesan website. It can also be cut and pasted from so that parish newsletter and magazine editors can use articles from within it in their own parish publications. This is not a discussion list and messages from unauthorized posters are not distributed to subscribers. More details the Diocesan Newsletter List can be found at:

Ely Announce
The Ely Announcements List carries official announcements from the bishops, archdeacons, and senior diocesan officials. This is not a discussion list and messages from unauthorized posters are not distributed to subscribers. More details on Ely Announce can be found at:

Events list
The Ely Diocesan Events list is intended for people organising events in the diocese. The list is used to post dates of events as they arise and it is also used to assist the development of the Diocesan Diary. Anyone else can subscribe to the list which which is a vehicle for disseminating information about events. This is not a discussion list and messages from unauthorized posters are not distributed to subscribers. More details on the Events list can be found at:

Ely List
The Ely List is intended as a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to people in the Diocese of Ely. This might be discussion of local events or policies, suggestions for things that the diocese might do, and general airing of diocesan topics. Other appropriate material includes local news and adverts for local services, church-related topics, church-related jobs, news of local people, and also requests for information and support. The opinions expressed on ely-list are those of the author alone who is responsible for their content. The list is not moderated, but the list administrator may take action to prevent repeated abuse of the list. This list is not the best place for discussions of a wider nature which do not have any local interest. The address for the diocesan discussion list is ely-list@ely.anglican.org. Music List
The Ely Music List is intended as a general discussion forum about music in the Diocese of Ely. It is also used by the Ely RSCM committee to distribute information about events and training opportunities. More details can be found at:
