HMRC: Error with Tax Codes for Clergy
13th January 2011HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has recently issued tax codes to most stipendiary clergy which have included the full HLC allowance paid in the last tax year. This was incorrect and Church House are working with HMRC to correct this problem. The codes are not being used to calculate the tax with the January stipend payments.
