Appointment Announcement - Acting Dean Ely Cathedral
20th June 2011Following from the date of the retirement of the Dean, the Bishop has appointed Canon David Pritchard as Acting Dean for the period of the vacancy. Canon Hargrave will become Vice Dean from the same date. All three Residentiary Canons will continue to exercise their customary portfolios and their responsibilities for Residence. Mr John Harrison, the Cathedral Administrator, will continue to manage the lay staff of the Cathedral and its business affairs, answerable to the Chapter as a whole. The present Dean will continue to work as normal whilst in post. Sarah King |
