The Big Crib Project!

The BIG Crib Exhibition is a huge crib making event for schools and community groups across the whole of East Anglia and will take place 25th November - 3rd December.

Organisers hope that as many schools and groups as possible will want to join in to finish the year on a celebratory high note. Currently, over fifty schools and organisations across the region are busy creating large scale nativity crib figures for Exhibition.

There are sixteen parish churches across the Diocese of Ely acting as host venues: Alconbury; Dry Drayton; Isleham; Leverington; Linton; Litlington; Littleport; March (St Peters); Northwold; Ramsey; St Ives; St Neots; Trumpington; Waterbeach; Watlington and Yaxley.

The cribs are being created in many different styles. It will be perfectly possible to do a "crib trail" around several churches to see the range of creativity on offer.

Over fifty schools and organisations across the region are busy creating large scale nativity crib figures for the East Anglian BIG Crib Exhibition.  The main exhibition will take place over the weekend of 26th-27th November (Advent Sunday weekend) but the cribs will remain on display for the following week.

Opening times will vary but full details of these and of special services taking place at the individual churches can be found at http://www.stir-up.org.uk/Cribs.htm
