Bishop offers greetings of Cambridge & East Anglia to new Duke and Duchess

The Bishop of Ely, Stephen Conway, said today:

“I am delighted to learn that HM The Queen has made Prince William the Duke of Cambridge. In honouring her grandson and new granddaughter, The Queen honours us in Cambridge and across East Anglia.

“We are delighted and honoured that our future King is even more closely associated with us. We pray most fervently for His and Her Royal Highnesses today and into a bright and happy future.”
