Saturday 10th May

The Saturday Play: Two Planks and a Passion. The citizens of York are preparing to perform the Mystery cycle before Richard II and his long-suffering queen, Anne of Bohemia. The royal visit is caused by anxiety, civic pride and hard work, but most of all it inspires the Guildsmen of York to give the best performance of the Passion play they have every produced. 2.30pm R4
