Bible Gateway is a comprehensive portal to the bible on-line.  You can choose from a large selection of different translations, as well as access reading plans and commentaries or even use it as a concordance to search for instances where particular words or phrases are used in the bible.

Oldtestament Gateway is  is a comprehensive, annotated, academic directory of internet sites on the Old Testament.  

Newtestament Gateway is a web directory of internet resources on the New Testament. Browse or search annotated links on everything connected with the academic study of the New Testament and Christian Origins. 

Lectio Divina (Latin for 'spiritual reading') follows a four-step approach - reading, meditation, prayer and contemplation.  The resource was released by the Bible Society to encourage Christians to re-nect with God through the Bible's life-changing message.  Available as a free download from the Bible Society's website, the booklet takes the reader through Mark's Gospel week by week for a whole year.

Care Network's Help at Home Service (incorporating Welcome Home from Hospital) provides a free service to people after a hospital stay/ illness, or crisis at home.  Help at Home volunteers visit people in their own homes and help out with shopping, calling to check people are ok, collecting prescriptions and they also help people to access other services.  Volunteers are given training and paid out of pocket expenses, they can fit their volunteering around their other commitments and visit at a time which suits them and their client.
