What are you doing on Saturday 28th November?  Can Christmas shopping be postponed till December?  Come along to the Quiet Day for Advent, in Church from 10 – 4pm.  It’s good to set aside some time to hear short talks on prayer, then have opportunity to reflect in prayer to God.  See the leaflet given out in Church.

Fundraising Ceilidh! (Scottish Country Dancing). Saturday 21st November at Huntingdon Methodist Church, 7.30 – 10.30pm.  Adult £8.00, child/student/OAP £6.00, Family (2 adults and 2 children) £22.00. Included in ticket price is a light ploughman's supper.  All funds raised go to helping youth from the Methodist Church to go to Spring Harvest.  Tickets from Steph Pedlar [Don’t worry... they show you how to do the dances.  It’s fun!]  Try clicking here for some music samples to get in the mood! 

Operation Christmas Child.  Jo Haddigan will be collecting Shoe Boxes from Church for the last time on Sunday 15th November.  It’s also the last Sunday to order from The Children’s Society Christmas collection of Cards, Advent Calendars, Christingle Cubes and Tea towels (Jo Haddigan, 435200)
