IN FAITH, FUN & FELLOWSHIP

YOUTH ACTIVITIES AT ST MARY MAGDALENE CHURCH, BRAMPTON

Welcome to St, Mary’s Church, it is a privilege to be able to work alongside your young person and get to know them. We have various programmes that happen during the term time and then Christian camps that happen in School holidays. We hope you enjoy the clubs on offer. MIDWEEK CLUBS

These clubs are youth clubs, they are a time for the young person to relax, have fun, chill out with their friends and generally have a good time in a safe environment.

CONNECT2

This Youth club is for school years 6, 7 and 8. It happens on a Thursday evening during term time. The time is 6.15 till 7.30 pm in the Church Hall. Entrance is £1.00 and we have a tuck shop with sweets from 1p. We look forward to seeing you.

INNOV8

This youth club is for school years 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. It happens on a Thursday night form 8 till 9.15pm in the Church Hall. Entrance is £1.00 and we have a tuck shop with sweets from 1p. We look forward to seeing you.

YOUTH BAND

If your young person is musical we have a very active youth band, which rehearse on Friday evenings and then participate in the Sunday morning service at 11 ‘0’clock. The young people are lead by our music director and take their talent to various events throughout the year. Please contact me about joining. New members are very welcome.

DISCIPLESHIP ACTIVITIES

Our discipleship groups are a chance for the young people to ask questions about Christianity, and learn more about the bible in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The groups are again split into ages to benefit their learning progress and styles. Anyone is welcome to join the relevant age group and we welcome new young people. If you have any questions please contact me.

GOD SQUAD - (During the Sunday service)

This group is for school years 6, 7 and 8 we start in the 11 ‘o’clock service and we then leave around 11.15 to go to the upper room at the Church Hall, the group then finishes approximately 12.15 pm. We have a mixture of music, laughter, learning, questions, prayer, fun and support of each other. This is a time to learn more about God in a relaxed way.

F. R. O. G. ‘s (Forever reliant on God) -Alternate Tuesday Evening

This group is for young people of school years 10, 11, 12 and 13. We meet on alternate Tuesday evening at my house from 7pm till 9pm. This group is about having fun, chilling out and then learning more about God’s word in different ways. We look at the bible and we relate the bible to our lives today, what does God say about the way we are? This is an evening of sharing and learning in a space which is non-threatening to anyone. Please feel free to join us; we look forward to seeing you.

FOUNDATION - (sixth form group) - Alternate Monday Evening

This group is for young people in the sixth form who want to go deeper with God. Using teaching materials aimed at young adults who want to ask the questions that may be they haven’t been able to before. This group is held at my house on alternate Monday nights from 7.30pm till 9.30pm. This is a safe group with lots of fellowship. Please contact me if you would like to know more.
