Mission Statements

We will:

1. Base our individual and corporate life on prayer - seeking God and being open to His guidance.

2. Seek ways of growing in our intimacy with God.

3. Plan and carry out systematic bible-based teaching

4. Conduct regular worship services which are -

5. Promote right relationships among all those in our church family by

6. Equip the church for lay ministry (spiritual and practical) through:

7. Associate with other Christian churches and organisations (locally, nationally and internationally) in joint witness, worship and the promotion of social justice.

8. Reach out to others in the love of Christ by:

9. Encourage and support cross-cultural mission by sending, praying, giving, communication and practical help (in particular relating to our link missionaries).

10. Act responsibly and creatively in the use of our finances and buildings, including making appropriate provision for foreseeable expenditure, paying all bills promptly, and contributing our fair share of diocesan/deanery costs. We trust God that God's work, done in God's way, will not lack God's supply.

11. Set up clear organisational structures so that all aspects of the work of the church are supported.

12. Review and evaluate our progress with the above mission statements and associated programmes on an annual basis, and implement changes as necessary.
