There is a viewing platform on the roof of our tower, affording views over Cambridge and the surrounding area.
The tower roof is reached by a spiral staircase, that also passes the back of the clock and the back of the University Organ, then the Ringing Room, the void (a space through which the bellropes pass) and the bell-chamber, in which the bells may be seen through a glass door.
Tickets for viewing from the tower are available from our Gift Shop. The charge is 175p per adult, 60p per child, and 420p for a family of two adults and two children. Group rates may be arranged, and there is no discount for students. The viewing platform is surrounded by a safety mesh, and the platform and staircase are monitored by CCTV for safety.
We don't have a webcam on the tower, but you can get a rooftop view from a bit further south in Cambridge from the Cambridge Panorama at the Old Addenbrookes site, and can also see what the weather is like there.
