St Michael's, which, although still consecrated, has for 90 years not been used regularly as a church in its own right. Since 1966 its nave has served as the parish hall of Great St Mary's. |

The nave of St Michael's, now coming into use as the Michaelhouse Centre, is divided from the chancel (which has remained unchanged) by a glass screen and curtains.
In the south-east corner of the building is the Hervey de Stanton Chapel, named after the founder.

St Michael's is located on Trinity Street, a very short distance from Great St Mary's. The building is surrounded by St Michael's Court of Gonville and Caius College, which is in fact St Michael's churchyard and belongs to the church. St Michael's is to the North of Great St Mary's, so seen as their west elevations they are arranged as shown in this diagram: |
