We are now preparing a series of panoramic views of Great St Mary's, of which the first one, a general interior view from the nave, is now available.
Great St Mary's is open to visitors from around 8:30 a.m. (the end of the morning service) until 6 p.m. every day, and you are welcome to come in to look around and perhaps to pause for prayer in St Andrew's Chapel, which is reserved for silent prayer except when it is in use for our daily services (which visitors are welcome to join). For how to get to our building, see Finding Great St Mary's.
A series of articles by Dr Lynne Broughton, from our parish magazine Majestas, may be taken as a tour of Great St Mary's Church building. The series will grow by one article per month.
Other pages describing parts of the fabric of our church building are:
Some points on this map are linked to descriptions of those parts of the building, and some to descriptions of what happens at those places. For how to get to our building, see Finding Great St Mary's.
The hot spots on the map are as follows:
This lists all the pages on this web site (apart from issues of our parish magazine, Majestas, which have their own index).
The University Church of Oxford University is also called St Mary's.
