Youth Group

The youth group at St Johns is open to all teenagers from school year 8 upwards. We meet in the Wilkinson Room of our parish rooms after the evening service, from 7.15 to 8.45 pm. We meet during school term time, with breaks for school holidays.

We run a range of activities. Some are energetic, others more cerebral. Some are primarily social, and others are more directly concerned with exploring our Christian faith. Each term we aim for a good diversity so that no two evenings are the same.

Our youth group has a small team of dedicated adult leaders, who take it in turn to organise the main activities.

Several of our young people are musicians, and play in the Music band that provides music for family services and other occasions.
