Why do we need to raise money?

Maintaining the Church is very expensive and the costs of repair are ever increasing. We are very fortunate to be able to look up and see the wonderful work which has been done on our Church tower; but we must remember that there are many other smaller things which also need doing. In repairing the tower a significant amount (circa £40,000) was borrowed and this also needs to be paid back.

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and welcome all of your suggestions. If you have any ideas, or have seen anything work particularly well in other places then please do get in touch. Contact details found here.

Alternatively, if you are able to give a donation, please find a link to a gift-aid form above.
Gift aid is tax relief on money donated to UK charities. HM Revenue and Customs treat donations as if the donor had already deducted tax from them. The charity can then reclaim this tax to increase the value of a donation. This means that for every £10 you donate we can claim a further £2.50 from the Government.
