Introduction to All Saints

Welcome to the web pages of All Saints Church, Milton.

Since becoming Rector in September 2004, I have come to greatly value this site as an important means of communication from the church in Milton to its own congregation, to the community of Milton, and to the wider world. I hope you will come back often, as news items and notices of forthcoming events and services are regularly added here.

All Saints Church exists to know the love of God and show the love of Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit. In everything we do at All Saints, we seek to express this purpose. We get to know the love of God through our worship, we show the love of Jesus through our involvement in the community, and we experience the power of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, giving us the strength to do all that we believe God has called us to do.

Our focus is upward to God and outward to the community, and we work hard to ensure that everyone is welcomed, and everyone is involved, as far as they feel able. Prayer is central to everything we are and do, and the Bible is the rule and guide for all our life. We are open to the Holy Spirit in all that we do. These are our core values, but we are a work in progress!

As you will see from elsewhere in this site, we offer a variety of styles of worship each Sunday, to cater for the many different needs of the people of Milton. I hope that you will find a service that suits you, and that you will come along on a Sunday to join us in worshipping our wonderful God. Preaching is an important part of our worship, and there is a growing archive of my sermons here, which will give you a flavour of the teaching at All Saints: www.revdc.net There are many other activities that take place during the week, ranging from Parents and Toddlers to the Lunch Club for the elderly - you will be made most welcome at any of these.

As a church, we regularly pray for the community of Milton, and for the various organisations and activities within it; if there is anything specific for which you would value prayer, please do contact me at rector@allsaintsmilton.org.uk, or write to me at The Rectory, Church Lane, Milton, Cambridge CB24 6AB.

If there is anything else that you feel that All Saints Church could usefully do for you or for the local community, then please do be in touch with me.

With every blessing from our risen Saviour,

David Chamberlin, Rector.
