Music

Music education and training in the diocese is overseen by the Ely RSCM Committee (Royal School of Church Music). This committee has representatives from many areas of the field of music in the Diocese and nationally.

Although the RSCM's membership was originally confined to the Anglican Communion, it is now interdenominational.

As a local committee we support denominational music organisations in their work and encourage direct participation through membership of the RSCM. In addition to this page the Ely RSCM committee now have an independent website.

Bishop’s Adviser for Music
