Activities

Just as Buckden is a thriving village, St Mary’s is a church with plenty to do for people of all ages, and participates fully in the life of the village and beyond.


Junior Church

Children who are too young to enjoy the main service at 10.30am are encouraged to come to Junior Church, where they can benefit from an early understanding of the Christian faith through creative teaching and prayer.

Tea, Chat & Toys at Vicarage

Men's Breakfast

this group meets at 8.30am at the Lion Hotel in Buckden on the first Saturday of every month - so far without missing a single month! Newcomers are made welcome by the core membership of men from St Mary's Church. Topics for lively discussion are based on questions of life and faith.
